The hands of faithful should be raised to God

I believe the hands of faithful should always be raised to God to thank him. When we raise our hands, we show to the Lord that we trust in him and not in our human forces. we declare that he is the Almighty God and we are simply obedient to his will. When we raise our hands we want to merge them with the Lord's hands to be more stronger and more courageous.
